The exercise I recommend you is Plank aka Front Bridge.
1.Start by getting into a press up position.
2.Bend your elbows and rest your weight ono your forearms and not on your hands.
3.Your body should form a straight line from shoulders to ankles.
4.Engage your core by sucking your belly button into your spine.
5.Hold this position for the prescribed time.
My point is to FOCUS ON JUST ONE EXERCISE to keep it daily.
If you can keep this exercise for at least 15 consecutive days, you will find your abs firmed up and yourself seeking next new exercise.
To make exercise your daily habit, this 2 min. exercise would be the best as small start for you.
